First Quilt/Primer Quilt

This is the first quilt I ever made.  In the year 2003 I returned to Florida for my first trip home after moving to Mexico in 1999.  My mom gave me the quilting bug along with the book that contained the instructions for making this quilt.  When I arrived back in Merida, Mexico, I immediately started this quilt from clothes making scraps.  It took a month to make and I've been making quilts ever since.  It doesn' t look this nice anymore.....it is now the dog's quilt.....

Este es mi primer quilt que he hecho.  Mi mamá me dio un libro de instructiones para este quilt cuando la visite en el primer visita a Florida el año 2003 despues de movernos a Merida, Mexico, en el año 1999.  Lo he hecho en un mes.  No es tan bonito ahora.  Lo doné a las perritas......
